History

In order to provide solid service to our customers, and with seven years of experience and know-how, WOWOW Communications was established in 1998 after separating from the Customer Center department of WOWOW.
As a member of WOWOW group, we are developing our business not only in the fields of customer center operation and telemarketing through the use of satellite broadcasting, telephone, fax, internet and mobile communications, but we are also challenging in various other areas as a ADVANCED COMMUNICATION SERVICE PROVIDER.

1990 November WOWOW began test broadcasting, and opened a Viewer Service
Center in Higashi-Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
1991 April WOWOW began commercial broadcasting.
1991 October Opened a Subscription System Center in Ikebukuro,
1992 February Opened a Subscription Information Center in
1992 July Merged the Subscription System Center and
1993 October Merged the Viewer Service Center into the Subscription center and
become the Customer Center.
1998 February Established as WOWOW Communications, Inc.
1998 October Located Yokohama Headquarter to Sakuragicho.
2001 June Earned a certification for JISA Privacy Mark.
2003 March Opened Kawaguchi Branch in Kawaguchi, Saitama.
2003 August Opened Okinawa Branch in Naha, Okinawa.
2004 February Renewed WOWOW Customer Center.Relocated Yokohama
Headquarter to Minatomirai.(Mitsubishi Juko Bldg 18F.)
2005 February Merged with e-TELE SERVICES.WOWOW Yokohama Customer
2005 May Opened new center in Minatomirai.(Mitsubishi Juko Bldg 10F.)
2006 May Opened Kansai Branch in Osaka.Opened Sapporo Branch in Sapporo.
2006 July Relocated head office to Minatomirai, Yokohama.
2007 July Opened WOWCOM College.
2009 November Relocated Okinawa Branch to Tsubokawa Square Building.
